Resolution 7669, Authorization to Enter into a Grant Agreement with the 11 <br />Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety Safe and 12 <br />Sober Project. 13 <br /> 14 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Approve Consent Agenda Item A. 15 <br /> 16 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 17 <br /> 18 <br /> B. Resolution 7669, Authorization to Enter into a Grant Agreement with the 19 <br />Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety Safe and 20 <br />Sober Project. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Mueller requested further information on this grant program from the Police 23 <br />Chief. Police Chief Kinney indicated the grant program was acted on last year and the increase 24 <br />in funds to assist with DWI saturation events, along with Safe and Sober projects. The results 25 <br />were positive from these events and the Mounds View Police Department was glad to be working 26 <br />with the County on this initiative. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7669, 29 <br />Authorization to Enter into a Grant Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, 30 <br />Office of Traffic Safety Safe and Sober Project. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 35 <br /> 36 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 37 <br /> 38 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller.
