City of Mounds View Page 3 <br />MS4 Mapping Proposal April 9, 2009 <br />If in the process of digitizing the data we identify the need for additional data, <br />we will direct all requests for additional data to City Staff. We will not proceed <br />with gathering the necessary additional data unless specifically directed by City <br />Staff to proceed. The gathering of any such additional data will be billed in <br />accordance with the process identified in Section III of this proposal. <br />Deliverables: Digitized GIS shapefiles of MS4 regulated storm water features per <br />the information received from the City. Preliminary MS4 maps to present to City <br />Staff. <br />City Staff Responsibilities: Provide a hard copy map identifying all known MS4 <br />regulated storm water structures and respond to requests for additional data. <br />Task 2: Meet with City Staff <br />Task 2 includes one meeting with City Staff to review the preliminary digitized <br />maps created from information provided by City Staff. The intent of this meeting <br />is to verify that the locations and designations of existing regulated storm water <br />features are accurate. <br />City Staff Responsibilities: Provide feedback on the MS4 maps presented <br />Task 3: Finalize 2009 MS4 Map <br />After meeting with City Staff, we will finalize the digitized MS4 mapping <br />information. We will prepare two maps for the City’s use: <br />o A large 22” x 34” color map at a 1” = 1000’ scale of the entire City <br />identifying the MS4 regulated features at a broad level resolution. <br />o An 11” x 17” color map book at a higher resolution to better view the <br />locations and shapes of small features and identify feature numbers. <br />Deliverables:One large color map included with each copy of the City adopted <br />LSWMP (we estimate 7 copies of the LSWMP), and four copies of the 11”x 17” <br />map book. We will also provide the City with a CD containing these maps as PDF <br />files. <br />III. Modifications to the Scope of Services <br />Additions to Scope <br />If the City wishes to add to the Scope of Services beyond those identified above, written <br />direction and authorization shall be provided by the City prior to proceeding with the <br />work. All such additional work would be performed on an hourly basis, in accordance <br />with the current Professional Services Agreement between Bonestroo and the City.
