Mounds View City Council December 10, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7194, 1 <br />Approving the TimeSaver Contract for Recording Secretarial Services. 2 <br /> 3 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 4 <br /> 5 <br />F. Resolution 7196, Appointing Members to the Various Mounds View 6 <br />Commissions and Committees. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Assistant to the Administrator Crane provided information on the applications received to 9 <br />appoint members to the various Mounds View Commissions and Committees. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that she would have no issue approving these members to the 12 <br />Planning Commission, but she would like to see Staff draft a policy outlining how appointments 13 <br />to Commissions are made to ensure consistency and fairness. 14 <br /> 15 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7196, 16 <br />Appointing Members to the Various Mounds View Commissions and Committees. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether the positions were advertised or posted. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Staff indicated that they were posted and advertised. 21 <br /> 22 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 23 <br /> 24 <br />G. Resolution 7197 Step Increase for Officer Jeremy Hellpap 25 <br /> 26 <br />Assistant to the Administrator Crane provided information on the step increase for Officer 27 <br />Jeremy Hellpap and recommended approval. 28 <br /> 29 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. To Approve Resolution 7197, Step Increase for Officer 30 <br />Jeremy Hellpap. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Assistant to the Administrator Crane read Resolution 7197. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mayor Marty indicated that an employee of Penny Pinchers had told him at the Grand Opening 35 <br />that Officer Hellpap had taken him on a ride along, and he feels this Officer is doing an excellent 36 <br />job. 37 <br /> 38 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 39 <br /> 40 <br /> H. Resolution 7195 Reclassifying the Assistant to the City Clerk/Administrator 41 <br /> Position to Assistant City Clerk/Administrator Position. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that in recognition of the work that Ms. Crane is doing 44 <br />for the City, Staff and Council have expressed interest in reclassifying the position to the 45
