Project Schedule: <br />A detailed project schedule is included as Attachment C with this Staff Report for <br />reference. Provided below is a summary of the project schedule. <br />Federal Funding Requirements <br />Due to the Federal Funding, additional steps will need to be included in the <br />project schedule to allow for the required reviews and approvals. The following <br />schedule summarizes the process should the Council wish to proceed with the <br />project. Items / timelines required for the Federal process are shown in bold: <br />June 9, 2008 Approve Preliminary Report, Order Project, authorize <br />preparation of Project Memorandum, authorize <br />preparation of plans and specifications <br />October 6, 2008 MnDOT State Aid for Local Transportation <br />Approval of Project Memorandum <br />October 13, 2008 Submit Delegate Contract Process (DCP) Request <br />October 27, 2008 City Council Approves 100% Plans and Specs <br />Authorizes Ad for Bid <br />December 26, 2008 MnDOT State Aid Approval of Plans and Specs <br />January 9, 2009 Authorization to Proceed by Federal Highway <br />Administration (FHWA) <br />January 19, 2009 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal <br />Determination <br />January 28, 2009 Begin Advertisement and 10 day waiting period <br />March 5, 2009 Bids Received (Thursday 10:00 AM, Mounds View <br />City Hall) <br />March 20, 2009 DBE Certification <br />March 23, 2009 Construction Contract Awarded <br />May 5, 2009 Project Begins <br />September 7, 2009 Project Completed <br />Public Improvement Hearing: <br />A public hearing on the County Road 10 Trailway Project: Segments 1- 5 was <br />held on November 13, 2007. The public hearing notice and information was <br />published in the official City newspaper, as well as being posted on the City’s <br />web site.
