<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7281 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SPRINGSTED TO CONDUCT <br />A SALARY COMPENSATION STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been discussed by the Mounds View City Council that a <br />compensation study and market analysis needs to be prepared and conducted pursuant to <br />Chapter 3.01 of the Personnel Manual; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council had directed staff to obtain quotes from consultants <br />specializing in compensation matters; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , three proposals were received which range in cost from $5,800 to <br />$31,000, the lowest proposal having been submitted by Springsted; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of work prepared by <br />Springsted and finds it to be consistent with its expectations. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes the firm Springsted to conduct a compensation study and market analysis as <br />presented in the work plan submitted by Springsted, at a cost of $5,800, plus expenses. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of June, 2008. <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
