These photos show very little change from previous
inspections.

5055-57 Sunnyside Road:
On November 19, 2008 staff inspected the property located at 5055-57 Sunnyside Rd and
found both sides of the duplex were vacant. Housing/Code Enforcement Inspector Jeremiah
Anderson observed an accumulation of garbage blowing across the yard, garbage bags,
household furnishings, and other debris outside left behind by the former occupant.

Inspector Anderson summarily abated the blowing garbage by placing it inside a nearby
garbage can and issued a summary abatement order requiring corrective actions completed
for the remaining items by November 27, 2008. The City issued one notice of violation in
2006 and two in 2007 for similar code violations at this property.

Inspector Anderson completed a follow up inspection on December 1, 2008. This inspection
showed that the property was not in compliance. As such, staff issued an Administrative
Offense to Steve Oberstar Jr., owner of 5055-57 Sunnyside Rd.

On December 4, 2008 staff notified Steve Oberstar Jr. in writing of the intent to seek
authorization from the City Council to authorize an abatement of the remaining code
violations existing at 8379 Red Oak Drive.

Inspector Anderson conducted a reinspection of 5055-57 Sunnyside Rd on December 15,
20008 and obtained photos of the exterior.
