RESOLUTION 8711 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR QUOTES FOR ROOF DRAIN REPAIR AT CITY HALL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Hall was renovated in 2005 and new roof drains and piping were installed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the drain lines were not insulated and have been routinely leaking causing the <br />growth of mold and minor carpet damage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Albertson Engineering has prepared a scope of work to repair the existing roof <br />drain lines; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Institute for Environmental Assessment has prepared a scope of work to remediate <br />the mold growth in the walls and carpet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the next step in completing the repairs is seeking quotes for the work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Staff is directed to request quotes for repair of the City Hall roof drain. <br /> <br />2. Upon receipt of quotes staff will prepare options for funding this work and present a plan for <br />completing this work to City Council at a later date. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of February, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
