Gohman Construction 5,358,466$ 8,900$ 35,000$ <br />6 Rochon Corporation 5,364,000$ 24,000$ 34,000$ <br />7 Versacon 5,446,001$ 9,435$ 33,615$ <br />8 Tarraf Construction 5,555,000$ 22,000$ 33,000$ <br />9 Morcon Construction 5,570,000$ 8,800$ 35,000$ <br />10 Terra General Contractors 5,660,000$ 22,300$ 32,600$ <br />11 Weber, Inc.5,676,000$ 9,300$ 34,100$ <br />12 Ram General Contracting 5,870,000$ 7,095$ 34,700$ ; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bid of $5,156,000.00 was submitted by Ebert <br />Construction of Corcoran, MN; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding for Alternate Bid Item 1 – paint vehicle storage <br />area walls in the amount of $21,910; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding for Alternate Bid Item 2 – provide pre-cast <br />concrete silo storage panels for bulk material storage in the amount of $31,949; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer and Oertel Architects recommend awarding a <br />construction contract to Ebert Construction for the base bid and alternates 1 and 2 in the <br />amount of $5,209,859; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a quote of $30,916.50 from American Engineering <br />Testing, Inc. to provide special inspections as required by the building code during the <br />construction of the new building; and, <br />
