Item 09E <br />Monday, June 26, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The current Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement requires that all permanent <br />job vacancies are posted internally for five (5) working days so current members of the <br />bargaining unit can be considered for the vacancy before it gets advertised to the <br />general public. Only after the vacancy is posted for five (5) working days and no <br />responses or qualified candidates are received will the vacancy be posted.
