<br />RESOLUTION NO. 8789 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A Resolution Approving the Hire of Jacob Martin to the <br />Housing/Code Enforcement Inspector Position in the <br />Community Development Department <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Housing/Code <br />Enforcement Inspector position was advertised; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thirteen (13) applications were received for the position and five (5) <br />were chosen for interview; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Jacob Martin’s skills and experience were determined to most <br />closely match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Jacob Martin will begin his new position on July 25, 2017, at Step 3 <br />of the wage scale as adopted herein below. <br /> <br />Step 1 (80%) Step 1.5 (82.5%) Step 2 (85%) Step 3 (90%) Step 4 (95%) Step 5 (100%) <br />$ 25.18 $ 25.97 $ 26.76 $ 28.33 $ 29.91 $ 31.48 <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />appoints Mr. Jacob Martin to the position of Housing/Code Enforcement Inspector in the <br />Community Development Department. <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council approves the salary scale for the <br />Housing/Code Enforcement Inspector position as indicated herein, with a starting salary for <br />Mr. Martin at $28.33/hour (Step 3), with an increase to Step 4 of the salary range after one <br />year of employment contingent on satisfactory job performance. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 10th day of July, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Carol A.
