Item No. 7E Meeting Date: February 12, 2007 Type of Business: CB WK: Work Session; PH: Public Hearing; CA: Consent Agenda; CB: Council Business City Administrator Review _______ City of Mounds View Staff Report To: Honorable Mayor and City Council From: Greg Lee, Director of Public Works Item Title/Subject: Resolution 7014 Ordering the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project and Authorizing the Preparation of Plans and Specifications Background: On May 22, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution 6823 authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report and the selection of a consultant for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project. On June 26, 2006, the City Council authorized several items to be studied as part of the Feasibility Report authorized on May 22, 2006 for the Street and Utility Improvement Program. On November 6, 2006, a DRAFT Preliminary Feasibility Report for the 2007- 2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project was submitted for the City Council’s review. On November 13, 2006, the City Council adopted Resolution 6959 setting a Public Improvement Hearing date for 7:10 pm on December 11, 2006 at the Mounds View City Hall and authorizing the City Administrator to mail and publish notice of said hearing and improvements as required by law. On November 21, 2006 a Public Informational Meeting was conducted to present the draft report on the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project. There are several issues that were discussed at the November 21st Public Informational Meeting and noted on the Feedback Forms that were submitted.
