9-1-14 9-1-14 <br /> A) SERVICE A building housing communal toilet, laundry and <br /> BUILDING other sanitary facilities necessary for the health and <br /> convenience of trailer house occupants. <br /> TRAILER PARK A lot or ground upon which two (2) or more occupied <br /> trailer houses are located. <br /> B. Site Selection: <br /> 1. A trailer park cannot be: <br /> a. Close to swamps or other potential breeding places for insects or <br /> rodents; <br /> b. Subject to flooding, fire or safety hazards; or <br /> c. Exposed to noise, smoke, fumes, odors or other chronic <br /> nuisances. <br /> 2. The park site shall be bounded on at least one side by a public street or <br /> highway and must be readily accessible to water, sewer, and electrical <br /> utilities. Topography must be favorable to good site drainage, minimum <br /> grading and proper trailer placement and maintenance. The park must be <br /> large enough to accommodate the number of desired trailer houses as well <br /> as the required roads and parking areas for motor vehicles, required <br /> service areas, buildings and playgrounds, and on-site utilities where public <br /> utilities are not available. <br /> C. Site Improvements: These must be arranged to insure: <br /> 1. Convenient pedestrian and vehicular access to each trailer space and to <br /> parking areas and accessory buildings; <br /> 2. An adequate supply of potable water; <br /> 3. City sewer hookup, where available, and an approved method of sewage <br /> disposal where City sewer is not available; <br /> 4. Electrical service for lighting and power; and <br /> 5. Diversion and drainage of water away from buildings, trailer spaces, <br /> service and recreational areas; and disposal of such water from the site to <br /> reasonably avoid erosion. <br /> D. Site Plan: A plan of the proposed trailer park shall be presented to, and <br /> approved by, the City Council prior to construction. The plan shall be drawn <br /> to scale and show details of the location and layout of trailer spaces, <br /> roads, walks, service buildings, service areas, parking spaces, recreational <br /> areasutilities, and -all-other--improvements as well-as details of--sitegrading <br /> and other physical characteristics. With regard to trailer spaces, the plan <br /> must show which are designated for dependent trailer houses and which for <br /> independent trailer houses. <br />
