9-1-14 9-1-14 <br /> G4) For each ten (10) dependent trailer houses in excess of the first ten (10) <br /> dependent trailers, one additional water closet and one additional lavatory <br /> for each sex must be provided. For men, urinals may be substituted for <br /> one-third (1/3) of the water closets. <br /> For every twenty (20) dependent trailer houses, in excess of the first <br /> twenty (20) dependent trailers, an additional water shower or bathtub for <br /> each sex must be provided. <br /> 5. Each water closet and bathtub and women's shower shall be located in <br /> separate compartments with self-closing doors, but gang-type shower com- <br /> partments may be provided for men. Individual shower stalls must be at <br /> least three feet by three feet (3' x 3'). Women's showers must have a <br /> dressing compartment with stool or bench. <br /> H. Laundry units shall be in a separate room from the toilet facilities with only <br /> an exterior entrance. Plumbing installations shall conform to the Plumbing <br /> Code' and electrical installations shall conform to the Electrical Code.' <br /> Facilities to maintain a temperature of seventy degrees (70°) Fahrenheit in <br /> cold weather in service buildings will be provided, as well as facilities to <br /> provide a continuous supply of at least five (5) gallons of hot water per <br /> trailer house space, together with adequate hot water for clothes washing <br /> equipment. <br /> Either mechanical laundry equipment or laundry drying yards shall be <br /> provided. Mechanical drying equipment must be located in service build- <br /> ings. Laundry drying yards must be located close to service buildings and <br /> have an area of at least fifty (50) square feet per trailer house space. <br /> % <br /> Other facilities: <br /> 1. Flytight and rodentproof refuse containers shall be provided so as to <br /> insure at least six (6) gallons per day of refuse storage capacity for each <br /> trailer house space. Such containers must be within two hundred feet <br /> (200') of trailer house spaces served by them. <br /> 2. A recreational area, located so as to be free of traffic hazards shall be <br /> provided and shall be large enough to insure at least one hundred (100) <br /> square feet of area for each trailer house space. <br /> J. Construction Requirements: Roads and parking areas shall be constructed <br /> of concrete, macadam, gravel, crushed stone, sand-clay, slag or other <br /> similar and approved material, with a light bituminous surface treatment, oil <br /> coating or other dust preventive material. Walks shall be so constructed of <br /> concrete, macadam, gravel, fine stone cinder or other similar and approved <br /> material which will provide a stable footing. Stepping stones may be used <br /> from principal walks to individual trailers. Recreation areas and laundry <br /> drying yards shall be surfaced with natural ground cover, sand-clay or <br /> othersimilarmaterial, <br /> 1. See Title 5, Chapter 2 of this City Code. <br /> 2.
