The purpose of the contract is to assure the <br /> City of a place to take animals which are reported as unattended per City <br /> Code. <br /> The contract for 1992 is a renewal of the 1991 contract with Brighton <br /> Veterinary Clinic, 2615 Mississippi Blvd and includes the provisions <br /> subscribed to in past years. Staff examined the services of the other <br /> providers and determined that continuing the contract with Brighton Clinic <br /> was cost effective and offered the City the most efficient method of <br /> maintaining animal control services within the City. The fees for the 1992 <br /> contract remain the same as the fees charged by the Clinic in 1991. <br /> Sa a Orduno, City A inistrator <br /> JECOMMENDATION: <br /> Motion to approve the Animal Impound Contract between the City and Brighton <br /> Veterinary Clinic and authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to execute <br /> said contract. <br />
