Resolution 7076, Recognizing Scotland Green, Sands and Silverwood 1 Apartments for Level B Certification in the Mounds View Multiple Dwelling 2 Licensing Program 3 4 Housing Inspector Anderson appeared before Council and recognized Scotland Green, Sands and 5 Silverwood Apartments for their efforts to attain Level B Certification in the Mounds View 6 Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. 7 8 MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7076, 9 Recognizing Scotland Green, Sands and Silverwood Apartments for Level B Certification in the 10 Mounds View Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. 11 12 Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 14 Housing Inspector Anderson noted that there were two additional applications that will be 15 coming before Council for approval. 16 17 G. Consider Resolution 7057, Approving a Development Review for an 11,000 18 Square Foot Manufacturing/Production Building at Central Sandblasting, 19 2299 County Road H 20 21 Community Development Director Ericson noted that this is a request for development review 22 for Central Sandblasting and they have been at this location since 1973 and are looking to expand 23 their facility. This would be a new building on the west side of the property to allow them to do 24 more work and get their materials inside to clean up the site. The property is 2.8 acres and is 25 zoned industrial. 26 27 Director Ericson said that Staff has reviewed parking, easements, and storm water runoff. He 28 then said that 45 Parking Stalls are required now and, with the expansion, 67 parking stalls 29 would be required. The site is either paved or fully graveled so there is adequate space available 30 for parking. 31 32 Director Ericson explained that the driveway is proposed along the easement and public works 33 approves, as long as the owner realizes that any restoration for work to be done in the easement 34 area is the responsibility of the property owner. 35 36 Director Ericson noted that grading and drainage plans have been reviewed by public works, and 37 Staff feels that this is a good plan. 38 39 Staff feels that, after review, the request meets all City Code requirements and Staff recommends 40 approval. 41 42 Director Ericson read the conditions of approval from the Resolution. 43 44 Director Ericson requested that Council add a requirement for a development agreement. 45
