Resolution 7076, Recognizing Scotland Green, Sands and Silverwood 1 <br /> Apartments for Level B Certification in the Mounds View Multiple Dwelling 2 <br /> Licensing Program 3 <br /> 4 <br />Housing Inspector Anderson appeared before Council and recognized Scotland Green, Sands and 5 <br />Silverwood Apartments for their efforts to attain Level B Certification in the Mounds View 6 <br />Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. 7 <br /> 8 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7076, 9 <br />Recognizing Scotland Green, Sands and Silverwood Apartments for Level B Certification in the 10 <br />Mounds View Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Housing Inspector Anderson noted that there were two additional applications that will be 15 <br />coming before Council for approval. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> G. Consider Resolution 7057, Approving a Development Review for an 11,000 18 <br /> Square Foot Manufacturing/Production Building at Central Sandblasting, 19 <br /> 2299 County Road H 20 <br /> 21 <br />Community Development Director Ericson noted that this is a request for development review 22 <br />for Central Sandblasting and they have been at this location since 1973 and are looking to expand 23 <br />their facility. This would be a new building on the west side of the property to allow them to do 24 <br />more work and get their materials inside to clean up the site. The property is 2.8 acres and is 25 <br />zoned industrial. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Director Ericson said that Staff has reviewed parking, easements, and storm water runoff. He 28 <br />then said that 45 Parking Stalls are required now and, with the expansion, 67 parking stalls 29 <br />would be required. The site is either paved or fully graveled so there is adequate space available 30 <br />for parking. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Director Ericson explained that the driveway is proposed along the easement and public works 33 <br />approves, as long as the owner realizes that any restoration for work to be done in the easement 34 <br />area is the responsibility of the property owner. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Director Ericson noted that grading and drainage plans have been reviewed by public works, and 37 <br />Staff feels that this is a good plan. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Staff feels that, after review, the request meets all City Code requirements and Staff recommends 40 <br />approval. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Director Ericson read the conditions of approval from the Resolution. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Director Ericson requested that Council add a requirement for a development agreement. 45
