The Contractor has submitted a list of items for 2 <br />additional claims and Staff is reviewing those items and will provide a recommendation to 3 <br />Council. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mayor Marty noted that they were working on the trailway and then disappeared, and Staff called 6 <br />a meeting, and they started again, and the same thing happened, and they started working after 7 <br />the meeting was scheduled. Mayor Marty noted that there was supposed to be substantial 8 <br />completion by July 1 and there is a lot of work left to do. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller asked about the $10,983.51 for the Streets and Utility Task Force. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Public Works Director Lee explained the invoice that lists what the costs cover. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mayor Marty, on Page 14, Minnesota Department of Health water service connection fee. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated it is a surcharge to the state to administer the Federal Clean 17 <br />Water Act. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Mayor Marty asked for information on the tree stump removal. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Director Lee explained the locations on city property where the stumps were removed. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Stigney asked about the payments to Fridley. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that the payments are for sanitary sewer. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Council Member Mueller asked about Nord Excavating and what was excavated and where. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Director Lee explained there was a water service break on Rainbow Lane. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Director Lee indicated that there are two pay requests that were not included and he would like to 32 <br />introduce them for consideration. Director Lee handed out the claims information to Council. 33 <br />They are pay requests for current projects. The first is $188,746 for the seal coating project. 34 <br /> 35 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull.
