To approve the Just and Correct Claims as Presented. 5 <br /> 6 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 7 <br /> 8 <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 9 <br /> 10 <br />A. January 9, 2006 City Council Meeting Minutes 11 <br /> 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve the January 9, 2006 City Council meeting 13 <br />minutes as corrected. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 3 Nays – 0 Abstain – 1 (Thomas) Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br />11. REPORTS 18 <br /> 19 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council 20 <br /> 21 <br />Mayor Marty asked staff to notify Northwest Youth & Family Services that he is no longer a 22 <br />board member. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Councilmember Gunn stated that Steve Tizinski from Bethlehem Baptist Church is looking for 25 <br />ideas and suggestions on how their bi-annual payment could be used, as has been done in the 26 <br />past. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Mayor Marty asked if they have gone before Parks and Recreation Commission. Councilmember 29 <br />Gunn stated she advised Mr. Tizinski that they could contact the Police Chief, inquire at the 30 <br />YMCA, as well as contacting Parks and Recreation Commission. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Councilmember Thomas reported that the first meeting of the Community Center Task Force was 33 <br />held, and there is a lot of information to go through. She stated she understands they are under a 34 <br />time limit so to even add one more thing as a specific undertaking would be difficult in the 35 <br />beginning of the process. Councilmember Thomas stated that several issues were brought to 36 <br />light, so homework needs to be done to answer detailed questions. She stated she was excited to 37 <br />see what the Task Force can come up with. 38 <br /> 39 <br /> B. Reports of Staff 40 <br /> 41 <br />1. 2005 Year in Review – Community Development 42 <br /> 43 <br />Community Development Director Ericson presented the 2005 year in review.
