RESOLUTION NO. 6759 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ACCEPT PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS <br />FOR TECHNOLOGY AND ELECTRONICS PACKAGE <br />FOR SBM FIRE STATION #3 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution of a Capital Improvement Plan <br />for the Spring Lake Park Fire Department Inc. that included construction of a new fire <br />station the following proposals were received as required by State law and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Listed below are the apparent proposals/quotation results for the <br />technology and electronics package: <br /> <br />TV/Audio Visual/Electronics: <br />Tierny Brothers Incorporated $126,622.08 <br /> <br /> <br />Phone & Data Cabling: <br />General Telecommunication Corporation (GTC) $16,151.50 <br /> <br />Security System: <br />Honeywell Security Monitoring $16,330.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the total of these bids equal $159,103.58 which is within the <br />projected budget for these components; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View adopt this resolution of support in the Blaine City Council awarding the <br />proposals/contracts as listed to the apparent lowest identified vendors. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of March, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
