The vision was <br /> translated into the goals for the future listed below. <br /> Rehabilitate City Hall <br /> Create methods for upgrade and rehabilitation of <br /> existing buildings <br /> Develop and plan towards turning Highway 10 into a City <br /> Downtown Boulevard <br /> Develop a financial plan of self sufficiency in <br /> development of the City. <br /> Improve and expand infrastructure. <br /> Build a community center. <br /> Establish an on-going marketing program to create and <br /> promote a new identification for Mounds View. <br /> Provide a multi-modal transportation system for Mounds <br /> View (total community). <br /> Develop a plan to include citizens in government and <br /> planning. <br /> Establish closer/better cooperative efforts with Planning <br /> Commission for upgrading Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Participate in cooperative efforts with other governmental <br /> agencies, when appropriate, to ensure quality and efficiency <br /> of service delivery. <br /> The primary focus of the Clerk-Administrator's Office for the <br /> next five years and beyond will be to assist the Council in the <br /> realization and implementation of these goals. <br /> 9 <br />
