Ideas for <br /> increasing revenues are listed in the objectives for <br /> 1992 listed below. <br /> The department is requesting that the Athletic Supervision <br /> position become a full time position in 1992. The addition <br /> of a full time staff member will provide increased <br /> administrative and customer services. The extension of the <br /> Athletic Supervisor position would enhance the After <br /> School program offerings as well as to provide the <br /> necessary administration personnel to cover the office <br /> during times when staff is not available in the office <br /> because of meetings or staff is in-the-field supervising or <br /> preparing for activities, during vacations, sick leave and <br /> other times that spreads the department thin. The cost of <br /> the full time position would be funded from the Recreation <br /> Activity Fund which is generated from activity fees. <br /> Specific objectives for 1992 are as follows: <br /> Continue development plans for the construction of <br /> a golf course on the park located north of 118 on <br /> County Road J. <br /> Continue to implement improvements at Silver View <br /> Park as described and scheduled in the Silver View <br /> Park Improvement Plan. <br /> Study the feasibility of a concession program in an <br /> effort to augment the recreation revenue source. <br /> - With the information gained by the economic impact <br /> model, devise a strategy to market recreation and <br /> parks services. <br /> 25 <br />
