5 <br />2401 County Highway 10 <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Ramsey County <br />Quarterly Predatory Offender checks continued this quarter. Officer Keckeisen visited 4 offenders to <br />confirm that their registration information is current and correct, and to provide recent photos to the <br />B.C.A. All predatory offenders in Mounds View are currently in compliance with their registration. <br /> <br />Officer Keckeisen attended the monthly property manager’s coalition meetings this quarter, along with <br />meeting property managers on a weekly basis to discuss reports of crimes that happened on their <br />property and to develop proactive strategies to deter future criminal activity. <br /> <br />To address concerns of the public the following community relation projects were under taken; <br />• Laport- Assist citizens with a parking on lawn and criminal damage to property complaint. <br />• Senior Community – Make certain all officers have access to all apartments in senior housing. <br /> <br />Tobacco compliance checks were conducted at local venders. Two businesses were charged with <br />selling tobacco to a minor <br /> <br />To help reduce criminal activity, and address specific concerns of citizens, extra patrol and visual <br />police presence was focused on the following areas; <br /> <br />• Edgewood School-Irondale students intimidating middle school children. <br />• Towns Edge Manufactured Home Community- Curfew violations. <br />• 5000 Block Eastwood – Harassment by ex-husband. <br />• 2300 Block Laport – Neighborhood dispute, parking issues. <br /> <br />Finally, Officer Keckeisen continues to publish and distribute the weekly crime summary and crime <br />prevention tips. <br /> <br />Training <br /> <br />The following courses were attended by Mounds View Police Staff during this quarter: <br /> <br />• 800 MHZ Radio Training <br />• National Incident Management System IS 100- Intro to Incident Command System, IS-200 <br />Single Resources & Initial Action Incidents, IS-700 National Incident Management System, IS- <br />800 National Response Plan <br />• National Incident Management System IS- 0015 Special Events Planning <br />• National Incident Management System IS- 340 Hazmat Prevention <br />• Basic School Resource Officer Training <br />• Initial Firearms Training <br />• Initial Use of Force/ Taser Training <br />• DWI Update <br />• Use of Force Refresher <br />• Computer Keyboarding <br />• Intelligence Toolbox Training <br />• Interviewing & Interrogation- RIP Technique <br />• Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Update <br />• Highway Drug Investigations <br />
