<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6963 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE SALE OF SURPLUS POLICE RADIO EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Police Department has transitioned to all new 800 Mhz radio <br />equipment, and the old radio equipment is no longer used for our police department <br />communications, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the old radio equipment can not be sold to the general public, as the <br />frequencies are programmable for other public safety agencies, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the police department has received two bids from Police Radio <br />equipment parts dealers for the surplus radio equipment. The bids are $3041.00 from <br />CommTech Enterprises, and $1550 from Action Radio and Communications, Inc. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize the sale of its surplus police radio equipment to CommTech <br />Enterprises for the amount of $3041.00. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of November 2006. <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL)
