<br />Prior to the Public Hearing, the City will conduct a Public Informational Meeting to <br />present and discuss the results of the Draft Feasibility Report and to solicit input, <br />comments, and suggestions from the public pertaining to this proposed project. <br />This will occur on November 21, 2006, at 6:30 PM at City Hall. <br /> <br />After conducting the Public Hearing on December 11, 2006, no immediate action <br />will be taken on this project; The Mounds View City Charter – Chapter 8 Section <br />8.04 states, “A period of sixty days shall elapse after the public hearing before any <br />further action shall be taken by the Council on the proposed improvement.” <br /> <br /> <br />Should this project proceed, the following is the tentative schedule: <br /> <br />November 21, 2006 Neighborhood Meeting held at City Hall <br />December 11, 2006 Public Hearing, present FINAL Feasibility Report <br />60-Day Protest Period As required by City Charter <br />February 13, 2007 Council orders project <br />June 11, 2007 Assessment Hearing / Award Construction Contract <br />June 28, 2007 Neighborhood Preconstruction Meeting <br />July 2, 2007 Construction Begins <br />September 1, 2008 Construction Completed <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />It is recommended the City Council approve a resolution setting a Public <br />Improvement Hearing date for the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement <br />Project. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Greg Lee, Director of Public Works <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
