RESOLUTION 6989 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2006-2007 CONTRACT AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby ratify the AFSCME Union, Local 5 <br />Bargaining Unit Contract Amendments for 2006-2007 Contract, with the following <br />amendments: <br /> <br />1. Pay Equity Adjustment – effective December 31, 2006 (AFSCME) <br /> <br />• 5% to all Female Classifications with an additional 1% to the Account <br />Clerk <br />• All Administrative Assistants are put into one Category (Technicians) <br />and given the same pay rate as the Utility Billing Clerk (non-union <br />position) <br />• Police Administrative Assistant will be reclassified as a Police <br />Support Specialist and given the same rate of pay as the <br />Technicians. <br />• Job Titles have been changed as indicated in the July 2006 <br />Compensation Study. <br /> <br /> <br />2. 2007 FT/PT Regular Employees’ Wages (3.0% increase effective <br />January 1, 2007) – (AFSCME) <br /> <br />• Effective January 1, 2007, all classifications below receive a 3% <br />increase. <br />• Effective January 1, 2007, in addition to the 3% increase the <br />Economic Development Specialist will receive an additional 0.5% ; <br />the Housing Code Enforcement Inspector and Public Service Officer <br />will receive an additional 1.5%. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby ratify the AFSCME Union, Local 5 Contract Amendments as <br />stated in Exhibit A, attached to this Resolution. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11th day of December, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: ________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
