Mounds View City Council November 13, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 12 <br /> <br />View Drive. 1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br />Mayor Marty indicated that he called and talked to Mr. Ulrich about this today and his question 4 <br />was regarding grading and the amount of fill but that question has been answered. He then said 5 <br />that the existing house and garage extend farther back onto the property than the new house 6 <br />proposed to be built so it is moving away from the wetland area. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Mayor Marty asked how much fill will be brought in and how that will impact the back yard. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Director Ericson explained that they need to grade to take out the foundation of the old home but 11 <br />very little grading beyond that would be done in the back yard. He then said that with this 12 <br />change part of the drainage will go to Pleasant View Drive rather than having it all flow to Spring 13 <br />Creek as it does now. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br /> G. Resolution 6963, Approving the Sale of Surplus Police Radio Equipment 18 <br /> 19 <br />Council Member Stigney said he was curious how many radios are involved here and what other 20 <br />equipment is involved. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Chief Summer explained that it is 19 portable radios and about 11 squad radios, cables and 23 <br />equipment, and the old mobile digital terminals were included. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council Member Stigney said that he feels that Staff got a good bid for this equipment. 26 <br /> 27 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6963, 28 <br />Approving the Sale of Surplus Police Radio Equipment. 29 <br /> 30 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> H. Resolution 6959, Setting a Public Improvement Hearing Date for the 2007 – 33 <br /> 2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Flaherty said that he wanted to take any opportunity to announce to the 36 <br />Community that there is a hearing date for a street and utility improvement project. He then said 37 <br />that the date is December 11, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Council Member Flaherty read the tentative schedule for the project. 40 <br /> 41 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Thomas.
