Mounds View City Council November 13, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 14 <br /> <br />Mayor Marty indicated he had called with questions earlier. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Council Member Flaherty said that the report needs to be dated November 13, 2006 not 3 <br />November 14, 2006. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Finance Director Beer explained that the checks go out tomorrow that is why the date is 6 <br />tomorrow’s date. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Council Member Flaherty questioned Page 12 the business cards for two different individuals at 9 <br />$39.32 and one for $67.67. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Finance Director explained that the $67.67 is for two people. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Flaherty questioned Page 14 on storm sewer repairs for $7,100. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that there is a certain amount in the budget for storm sewer 16 <br />repairs as part of the City’s annual maintenance. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Council Member Flaherty questioned the driveway repair. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Finance Director Beer explained that there was a water main repair that required repair of the 21 <br />driveway and the City paid to restore it to asphalt and the resident is upgrading to concrete. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Flaherty asked for information on the resurfacing of basketball courts. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Finance Director Beer explained that Silver View tennis and basketball courts were resurfaced 26 <br />and the basketball courts at Greenfield and at Groveland were also resurfaced. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Flaherty questioned Page 28 freeway towing and what that was for. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that towing charges will be covered as part of the forfeiture fees 31 <br />recovered. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Mayor Marty commented on independent delivery service noting he got two Mounds View 34 <br />Matters this time. 35 <br /> 36 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Marty.
