Resolution 6973 Step Increase for Jeremy Hellpap, Mounds View Police 6 <br /> Officer and Steve Vacek, Mounds View Public Works Mechanic 7 <br /> 8 <br />City Administrator Ulrich read Resolution 6973, a Step Increase for Jeremy Hellpap, Mounds 9 <br />View Police Officer and Steve Vacek, Mounds View Public Works Mechanic. 10 <br /> 11 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Flaherty. To Approve Resolution 6973 Step Increase for Jeremy 12 <br />Hellpap, Mounds View Police Officer and Steve Vacek, Mounds View Public Works Mechanic. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mayor Marty commented that the dates of employment were November 22 and November 24 and 15 <br />he would like to have these come to Council at the meeting prior to their employment 16 <br />anniversary date. 17 <br /> 18 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 19 <br /> 20 <br />8. Resolution 6967 Authorizing Out of State Conference Attendance and 26 <br />Corresponding Budget Amendment 27 <br />D. Resolution 6970 Approving Payment of 2nd Half 2006 Property Taxes Due for 28 <br />2390 County Road 10 and a Corresponding Amendment to the 2006 TIF #1 29 <br />Budget 30 <br /> 31 <br />Council Member Stigney requested that Item C be removed for discussion. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Mayor Marty removed Item B for discussion. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Flaherty requested that Item D be removed for discussion. 36 <br /> 37 <br /> B. Set a Public Hearing for Monday, December 11, 2006 at 7:10 p.m. to 38 <br /> Consider a Preliminary Plat for the “Knollwood Place” Townhome 39 <br /> Development 40 <br /> 41 <br />Mayor Marty indicated that he has talked to Director Ericson about the fact that there are 42 <br />townhomes going up everywhere in the area but there are no assisted living buildings or units in 43 <br />this area and that was proposed as a possible alternative. He then said that the housing market 44 <br />has gotten soft right now especially in condos and townhomes. 45
