Some of these categories require • <br /> after hours time, which is added into the amount given for that category. <br /> WORD PROCESSING/COMPUTER - 593 hours <br /> Correspondence, memos, reports, Senior newsletters, computer backup, etc. for office <br /> staff. <br /> BROCHURE - 388 hours <br /> Included in this category is entire newsletter process from gathering information, desk <br /> top publishing, editing, coordinating with printer, readying for mailing, maintaining <br /> mailing list, etc. <br /> REGISTRATION - 113 hours <br /> Mail-in and counter registration entry into computer, entry of class codes into <br /> computer, generating class lists, etc. <br /> CUSTOMER SERVICE - 310 hours <br /> Answering phones, responding to questions, assistance in finding proper classes, <br /> processing refunds, locating other services for residents, etc. <br /> FINANCE - 183 hours <br /> Balancing cash drawer, preparing and reviewing portion of recreation activity budget, <br /> invoicing, receipting, etc. • <br /> PERSONNEL - 109 hours <br /> Processing time sheets, contracts, maintaining files, placing employment ads, <br /> interviewing, training, supervision of part-time staff. <br /> *PROGRAMMING - 94 hours <br /> Developing programs, permits, scheduling, supplies and evaluation. <br /> *SPECIAL EVENTS - 101 hours <br /> Assist in coordination of Festival and other special events, i.e. Silver View Dedication. <br /> Organize community groups, maintain health standards assist in overseeing day of <br /> event. <br /> *PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION - 83 hours <br /> Prepare memos and other materials for packet. Attend meeting and record minutes. <br /> Transcribe minutes. <br /> • <br /> FACILITY COORDINATION - 105 hours <br /> Schedule City Hall and Random Park facilities for recreation, City, and community <br /> groups. Schedule park facilities, ballfields, soccer fields, etc. <br /> PUBLICITY - 73 hours <br /> Put weekly articles regarding recreation in New Brighton Bulletin, prepare flyers for <br /> individual programs and distribute to community schools. <br /> *Denotes activities which require working other than normal office hours. <br /> Approximate hours spent: 2152 of a standard 2,080 hour position. <br />
