They will have nothing to do with the <br /> operation of the airport other than to be an impartial <br /> tenant: <br /> Mr. McCarty questioned whether federal grants would <br /> be used to upgrade the airport or systems in any <br /> manner. <br /> Mr. . Sayer replied nothing that would have to do with <br /> flying, as their connection to the FAA is academic. <br /> Mayor Hankber explained the Council would be taking <br /> no action tonight, and this was an effort to get the <br /> citizens aware of proposed changes . <br /> Linda Bauman, 2317 Sherwood Road and Nancy Lindquist, 6 . Discussion <br /> 2325 Sherwood Road, stated there are a lot of traffic of Traffic <br /> problems along their road, with heavy, fast traffic, Problems on <br /> with one individual in particular who has lost his Sherwood Road <br /> license four times but still continues to drive. <br /> Ms. Lundquist questioned why he was allowed to <br /> continue driving, and stated they would like to see <br /> increasdd monitoring by the police, use of radar and <br /> speed bumps . She also noted when neighbors have <br /> complained about the one individual, he has retaliated <br /> against them. <br /> - - p alne• the Council will be address- <br /> ing the size of the police force during the budgeting <br /> process. <br /> Lt. Brick stated he had looked into the matter. In <br /> order to get an individual in court, a citizens arrest <br /> is needed if there is not an officer present to <br /> observe the violation. He added it would be helpful <br /> if time patterns could be established, as they cannot <br /> have a squad car there at all times. <br /> Mayor Hankner noted her neighborhood had had a pro- <br /> blem in the past and the neighbors got together and 44/ <br /> took license numbers and called them in. <br /> Ms . Lundquist presented a petition to the Council, <br /> signed by area residents, requesting assistance from <br /> the Council in addressing the problem. <br />
