She also questioned whether <br /> he Planning Commission could approve this without a <br /> site plan. <br /> Mr. Grone stated he would provide one. <br /> Motion/Second: Forslund/Zollner to approve Resolution <br /> No. 164-86, recommending to the Council regarding <br /> Mounds View Planning Case No. 190-86. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Director Thatcher recommended the Grone' s secure an <br /> expert in the field to determine what type and size <br /> of pipe is needed before going to the City Council <br /> with their appeal. <br /> Motion/Second: Forslund/Miller to postpone 7. Daryl Blasberg, <br /> discussion on this item until 9: 30 PM, at the Case 191-86 <br /> request of Mr. Ken Sjodin. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> arlin Grant, of Mary Anderson Homes, stated that 8. Silver Lake <br /> ue to changes in the market, they are requesting Woods <br /> III to change the planned construction of <br /> condominium units in Silver Lake Woods to one story <br /> townhouses. He explained . they have encountered too <br /> many problems in selling the two story units, and <br /> they would be lowering the density, and the units <br /> would have a greater square footage, along with a <br /> higher price, between $86,000 and $110,000. Mr. <br /> Grant stated they would be meeting with the home- <br /> owners association to review the proposed change <br /> with them. <br /> Fred Haas, of Mary Anderson Homes, showed where <br /> the townhouses would be located, in areas that <br /> are now designated for condominiums. He explained <br /> the owners of each unit would own the land under <br /> them, versus the non-ownership of condos , and he <br /> stated they would be dropping 30 units total. <br /> Director Thatcher stated some minor changes may <br /> be required in the development agreement. <br /> Mr. Grant stated they would like to go before the <br /> City Council on June 16, with the Planning <br /> 4Ikommission' s recommendation for conceptual approval. <br /> e added they would also get the approval of the <br /> homeowners association before that date. <br />
