Mounds View Planning Commission June 4 , 1986 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Five <br /> letChairman Mountin stated she would be abstaining from the <br /> ote, as she is planning to build in the development, <br /> ut she would not step down from the discussion, as they <br /> would lose their quorum. <br /> Mr. Grant asked the Planning Commission if their <br /> approval could be worded to allow the construction of <br /> either condominiums or townhouses in the designated <br /> areas, as the market may change again in the future or <br /> they may have buyers who want condominiums rather than <br /> townhouses. <br /> The Planning Commission drafted the following resolu- <br /> tion, No. 165-86: <br /> Whereas, Mary Anderson is proposing to construct six <br /> unit townhouses in lieu of eight unit condominium <br /> structures on some of the remaining undeveloped lots <br /> of Silver Lake Woods Carriage Homes, Tract D , and <br /> Whereas the six unit townhouses will be on the lots <br /> originally proposed as eight unit condominiums , and <br /> Whereas the development agreement may need to be <br /> revised, and <br /> Illirhereas Mary Anderson shall secure approval of the <br /> ajority of the homeowners association, and <br /> Whereas the density will be reduced from 168 units <br /> to as low as 138 units in the undeveloped area, and <br /> Whereas Mary Anderson shall deedthe land beneath <br /> the townhouses to the townhouse owners, <br /> Now therefore be it resolved that the Planning <br /> Commission recommends to the City Council that this <br /> conceptual plan be approved contingent upon approval <br /> of the majority of the homeowners association, <br /> Be it further resolved that the Planning Commission <br /> recommends to the City Coucil that the development <br /> agreement be amended accordingly, and <br /> Be it further resolved that Mary Anderson may construct <br /> townhouses or condominiums on any particular lot in <br /> Silver Lake Woods Carriage Homes, Tract D , <br /> Be it further resolved that this resolution be <br /> forwarded to the City Council prior to the approval <br /> of the Planning Commission minutes. <br /> 1111 <br />
