Mounds View Planning Commission June 2, 1999 <br /> • Regular Meeting Page 9 <br /> Hegland requested the addition on the plan of standard, to-scale, vehicle outlines to indicate the <br /> amount of room available in the parking spaces. Ericson stated staff will assure parking spaces are <br /> in accordance with the City Code. <br /> Stevenson asked if the Commissioners were comfortable with voting at this time. <br /> Miller noted that at other times when all items were not as requested, the Commission had asked that <br /> the matter be brought back at the next meeting. <br /> Chair Peterson stated that although he would prefer two meetings, he could act upon the matter at <br /> this time. <br /> Kaden stated that he would feel comfortable voting at this time if all of the stipulations were met. <br /> He asked when the Resolution was set to go before the City Council. <br /> Ericson stated that it was set to go before the Council at their next meeting on June 14. <br /> Chair Peterson asked if staff could prepare the paperwork and submit the final draft to the <br /> • Commissioners for review prior to the Council meeting. Kaden added that Commissioners could then <br /> go before the Council and address any items that were not as requested. Ericson stated that he would <br /> submit the plans to the Commissioners for their review prior to the Council Meeting. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Stevenson/Miller to adopt Planning Commission Resolution 580-99, <br /> Resolution Recommending Approval of a Development Review for a Four-Unit Multiple Family <br /> Residential Dwelling Located at 7623 - 7629 Woodlawn Drive; Planning Case No. 55-999, with <br /> stipulations as amended and modified. <br /> Ayes— 9 Nays—0 The motion carried. <br /> 6. Staff Reports /Items of Information <br /> A. Silver View Park Trail Paving Plan <br /> Commissioner Stevenson stated that he had attended the last meeting of the Parks and Recreation <br /> Committee where discussion took place in regard to the trail surrounding the Silverview Pond. He <br /> stated that for several years, there had been consideration of paving the trail, which is at this time <br /> comprised of wood chips. He stated that there was unanimous support for the proposed paving <br /> project among the neighborhood residents. He stated that the project would require some <br /> engineering changes, but would run along the current wood chip trail. Stevenson stated that some <br /> of the residents on the north end of the pond had voiced concerns about the boggy nature of the east <br /> side of the pond. He stated that there were also inquiries regarding the construction of a bridge <br />
