7. One (1) small sign per street frontage on each lot displayed for garage <br /> • sales, rummage sales, sale of produce grown on the premises, real estate <br /> sales, Parade of Homes production or church or school events. Such signs <br /> are permitted on private property only, may be placed only upon approval <br /> of the property owner, may not exceed six (6) square feet in area and may <br /> not exceed four (4) feet in height. In addition, signs advertising garage <br /> sales, rummage sales, Parade of Homes promotions or church events may <br /> be displayed for no more than one week prior to the event and must be <br /> removed within one day after the sale or event. Real estate sale signs <br /> erected off the premises offered for sale may be displayed for no more <br /> than three (3) days in any seven (7) day period. No sign provided for in <br /> this paragraph may be located closer than seven (7) feet to the paved <br /> portion of a street. <br /> 8. One (1) campaign sign per candidate and issue on each frontage is <br /> permitted from the last day of candidacy filing, or one month before the <br /> election, whichever is Inter. Such signs shall not exceed six (6) square <br /> feet in area and shall be not more than four (4) feet in height. Such signs <br /> are permitted on private property only and may be placed only upon <br /> approval of the property owner. No such sign may be located closer than <br /> seven (7) feet to the paved portion of a street. Where the sign is situated <br /> not closer than one hundred fifty feet (150) from the property line of an <br /> .111, occupied residence, the area of the sign may increase to thirty-two (32) <br /> square feet and the height increase to six (6) feet; however, such sign must <br /> be set back from the property line a distance equal to one-third the <br /> distance of the district front yard setback requirement. Any sign permitted <br /> by this paragraph may be used, in lieu of other uses permitted by this <br /> paragraph, as a Non-Commercial Opinion Sign. <br /> The owner of the property on which'campaign signs are located shall be <br /> responsible for the removal of such signs within five (5) days after the <br /> election. <br /> 9. One (1) unlighted "For Sale' or "For Rent" sign erected on the premises <br /> which is for sale or rent, such sign not to exceed six (6) square feet in <br /> area in residential districts and thirty-two (32) square feet in area in <br /> business and industrial districts. <br /> 10. One (1) temporary unlighted identification sign maybe installed upon a <br /> construction site in any district denoting the name of the owner, architect, <br /> engineer, and contractor, provided that such signs do not exceed district <br /> area requirements for ground signs. <br /> 11. Gasoline service stations are permitted a doublefaced full price sign(s) not <br /> exceeding sixteen (16) square feet each for each type of fuel sold on the <br /> site.
