The other two pieces were as follows: <br /> <br /> Budget amount Total City Cost Remaining Budget Amount <br />Tractor $70,000.00 $63,339.81 $6,660.10 <br />Pick up truck $28,000.00 $25,604.30 $2,395.70 <br />Pick up truck trade in $1,500.00 <br />Total $10,555.80 <br /> <br />It would be recommended that 2005 General Fund, Parks Department Vehicle <br />Account (Account 100-4360-7040) be utilized for this purchase with no <br />adjustments to said account. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Consistent with the City of Mounds View’s Long Range Financial Plan approved <br />by City Council on December 13, 2004, Resolution 6403, Staff recommends that <br />the City Council approve the purchase of a 2005 Sterling Acterra Chassis under <br />state contract and award a contract to Boyer Ford in the amount of $55,593.00 <br />plus tax and the tanker/street flushing system to ABM Equipment and <br />Manufacturing for $59,553.00 plus tax. <br /> <br />Finally, Staff recommends that the City Council approve the trade-in of the 1981 <br />Tanker Truck to ABM Equipment and Manufacturing at a credited value of <br />$8,000.
