Resolution 6528, Approving a donation from William Siercks 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mayor Marty read the Resolution 6528, a resolution approving a donation from William Siercks. 6 <br />He thanked Mr. Siercks for his donation of $200 to the City of Mounds View Police Department 7 <br />for the purchase of protective body armor. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND Gunn/Stigney To Approve Resolution 6528 A Resolution Accepting a 10 <br />Donation from William Siercks. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 13 <br /> 14 <br />D. Resolution 6542, A Resolution of Appreciation and Recognition of Mounds 15 <br />View Residents Marlene Kvitrud, Lauren Oman and Sarah Palzer. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Mayor Marty read Resolution 6542, a Resolution of Appreciation and Recognition of Mounds 18 <br />View Residents Marlene Kvitrud, Lauren Oman and Sarah Palzer. He explained that Ms. 19 <br />Kvitrud, Ms. Oman and Ms. Palzer are all members of Girl Scout Troop 530 adding that they 20 <br />helped by donating their time and resources to a local women’s shelter. He stated that they have 21 <br />also been named the recipients of the 2005 Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest award 22 <br />given in Girl Scouts. He expressed the Council’s appreciation to each for their hard work, 23 <br />dedication and devotion of service. He presented each with a Certificate of Appreciation from 24 <br />the City of Mounds View and commended them for their level of Community service and for 25 <br />giving back to the Community. 26 <br /> 27 <br />MOTION/SECOND Flaherty/Stigney To Approve Resolution 6542 A Resolution of 28 <br />Appreciation and Recognition of Mounds View Residents Marlene Kvitrud, Lauren Oman and 29 <br />Sarah Palzer. 30 <br /> 31 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 32 <br /> 33 <br />7. Finance Director 37 <br />Hansen explained that the payment was for the sales tax and vehicle registration for a pickup 38 <br />truck the City recently purchased. 39 <br />• Page 8, Hawkins, Inc. payment for $1,383.56, what kind of chemicals?
