Mounds View City Council June 27, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 27 <br /> <br />are they are expecting from this task force, how closely do we think it’s going to be rided and 1 <br />what reassurance does the city have from Ramsey County that the result of this board is the result 2 <br />of what they go with. She asked if they have heard from Ramsey County Board on any of the 3 <br />assurances. 4 <br /> 5 <br />City Administrator Ulrich explained that there isn’t any assurance on an advisory board like this. 6 <br />He further explained that they make the recommendation to elect a body and they are charged 7 <br />with making a decision. He stated that there are no obligations that he is aware of. 8 <br />Mayor Marty stated that this could be similar to their Airport Advisory Committee where the 9 <br />representatives would attend the meetings and report back to Council with updates. He stated 10 <br />that if this is the process they could report back and Council could respond by passing a 11 <br />resolution, which would carry some weight. He stated that they were given very short notice to 12 <br />do this. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Council Member Thomas asked how quickly they could have this advertised. 15 <br /> 16 <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that they could have it to the newspaper by mid-week in 17 <br />addition to utilizing the City website and Cable TV. He stated that they could have the 18 <br />candidates identified for consideration in time for the July 11th City Council meeting. 19 <br /> 20 <br />9. Resolution 6570 Approving an Agreement with Ms. Kristin Prososki to 31 <br />Provide Interim Planning Services. 32 <br />E. Pulled for separate vote - Set a Public Hearing for July 11, 2005, 7:05 p.m. 33 <br />for the Second Reading and Adoption of Authorizing the Sale of Land 34 <br />Comprising the Bridges of Mounds View Golf Course to the Mounds View 35 <br />Economic Development Authority. 36 <br />F. Pulled for separate vote - Set a Public Hearing for August 22, 2005 for the 37 <br />Proposed Establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 (A special 38 <br />Legislation Economic Development District). 39 <br /> 40 <br />MOTION/SECOND.
