Subd. 7' ., ,"The Commisszon shall adopt <br />byIaws for its t�Ce govemance and for the transaction of its business." Where there is a <br />conflict between the provisions of he Bylaws � <br />�sro� and the provisions of the City Charter and ihe IViunicipal Code, ihe provisions <br />of the City Charter and the Munici�at Code shall ovem <br />II. ADOPTION AN� AMENDMEN'T: The Bxlaws sha11 be adopted by Resolution b� <br />an affirrna�ive vote o� at leasi four members oi the Planning�,axgd Zoning Commissior� <br />(the Planning Commission or the Commission), and shall be placed on file with the <br />City Administz'ator and the Community Development Department A cop,y of the <br />bylaws shali be forwarded ta the City Council for its information Any amendmen�s <br />to the Bylaws shall be adopted by Resoiution in the same manner as the orig�-inal <br />�vlaws. <br />B. ATiNUAL 1tEVIEV6l: The Bylaws shall be reviewed an an annual basis at fihe first <br />re�ular meeting of the Commission in �e�ruarv. <br />III. OFFICERS <br />A. OF�"ICERS NAMED: The officers of the Plannin� �ommission shall consisi of a <br />chairperson and vice-chairpersan. The Commission ma, c� , and fill such other <br />ofiices from its members, as it may deternune to transact Commission business In <br />addition. the Director of Communitv Development shall act as,the recording secretar� <br />for the Commission for purpose of preparin�meeting minutes, or shall appoint a staff <br />member to,�erform this duiv. <br />B. ELECTIONS• TERM3 <br />1. Chairperson: Based uporz the recommendation of the Plannui� Commission the <br />IVlavor, With the a�proval af the Ci � Council, shall appoini ihe ehairperson of the <br />Comrnission each �ear. At the first meetin�in Decer3nber the Commission shall <br />canduct an �lection in ordet to enake its recommendation for the chairperson. <br />followin� �he procedure in III.B.3.
