In CRP and PF Districts, CWTS towers and antennae shall not exceed one <br /> hundred feet (100') in height. The height of a tower may be increased up to a <br /> maximum of one hundred and twenty feet (120') if the applicant can demonstrate <br /> to the City that the extra height is necessary for the co-location of another <br /> provider's antenna. In addition, the following requirements shall be met: <br /> (1) In order to protect,.preserve and enhance the natural features and <br /> environmental value of the City's parks and recreation areas for the <br /> appreciation and use of the community, the highest standards of <br /> landscaping and screening of CWTS towers;antennae and accessory <br /> buildings shall be utilized to the satisfaction of the City Council. <br /> (2) The applicant shall incorporate the proposed CWTS towers into new or <br /> existing facilities or structures, such as using the tower as a light standard <br /> for ball fields or parking areas, or into tree stands similar in height to that <br /> of the tower. <br /> e. Planned Unit Developments (PUDs): In commercial or industrial PUDs, CWTS • <br /> towers and antennae shall not exceed one hundred feet (100') in height. The height <br /> of a tower may be increased up to a maximum of one hundred and twenty feet <br /> (120') if the applicant can demonstrate to the City that the extra height is necessary <br /> for the co-location of another provider's antenna. The applicant shall file a request <br /> to amend the existing PUD final plan and/or adopted conditional use permit in <br /> accordance with Chapter 1120 and Section 1125.01 of this Code. CWTS towers <br /> and antennae shall not be allowed in residential or mixed use PUDs. <br /> f Conditional use •ermits are not re uired for antennae and towers used b the Ci <br /> for City purpose or public agencies for public safety purposes: repair or <br /> replacement or adjustment of the elements of the antenna array affixed to a tower <br /> or antenna, if the replacement does not reduce acceptable safety standards: and <br /> antennae mounted on water towers, and existing power, light, or telephone poles. <br /> 1126.04: CO-LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: <br /> Subd. 1. Letter of Intent: For all new CWTS towers erected in the City after the date of <br /> enactment of this ordinance, a letter of intent shall be required that commits the tower, the <br /> owner, and the owner's successors to allow the shared use of the tower if an additional <br /> user agrees in writing to meet reasonable terms and conditions for shared use. <br /> 411 <br /> 4 <br />
