Th� Planning <br />Commission heard this appiication on October 9, i 996 after which the applicanis withdrew th�ir <br />request. The Pianning Commission's comments as �vell as the staffreport on this earIier case were <br />given to the present applicants to guide them in the development of their plan. <br />On January 9, 1997, I�en C1ark, represeniing $pots Quick Lube, Inc., submi�ted an application far a <br />conditional use permit to allow for minor auto repair at the Auto Central site. Given the size of this irregularly shaped parceI and the placement of <br />the existing building upon it, meetin� all of the paridng lot setbacks may not be possible. <br />I�owever, f the Commission were to consider fhe side of the property facing Highway 10 as a <br />"side" rather than a"front", the req�aired setback would be only S feet and the site would then <br />meet all of the required setbacks.
