Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 740 to Amend Chapter 3 <br />907.06 Entitled “Storm Water” in the Mounds View City Code. ROLL 4 <br />CALL VOTE. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Linke stated he had received a phone call from Nicole Humphrey, who stated she was ill 7 <br />and couldn’t attend, but that she would be opposed to having anyone coming into her home to do 8 <br />any inspections. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Planning Associate Prososki stated that staff does not go inside to inspect unless they feel there is 11 <br />a health risk to the occupants of the home. She stated they only look at the outside of homes. 12 <br /> 13 <br />MOTION/SECOND. Quick/Gunn. To waive the reading and adopt Ordinance No. 740 to 14 <br />Amend Chapter 706.06 Entitled “Storm Water” in the Mounds View City Code. 15 <br /> 16 <br />ROLL CALL: Linke/Quick/Marty/Stigney/Gunn. 17 <br /> 18 <br /> Ayes –5 Nays-0 Motion carried. 19 <br /> 20 <br />L. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 741, an Ordinance to amend 21 <br />title 400 of the city Code regarding the Appointment and Terms of the 22 <br />Planning and Zoning Commission, Police Civil Service Commission, 23 <br />Economic Development Commission and the Parks and Recreation 24 <br />Commission. ROLL CALL VOTE. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Mayor Linke stated he didn’t know why the Council was involved with appointment the Chair 27 <br />Person. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Council Member Quick stated they only had to ratify it, and that that is the way it’s always been. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mayor Linke stated the sentence should read, “The City Council shall appoint a chair person.” 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Gunn asked for clarification. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Mayor Linke stated the sentence should read, “Based upon recommendation of the Parks and 36 <br />Recreation Commission, the City Council shall appoint a chair person.” He stated that would be 37 <br />the change throughout the document; to remove the “and” and the “they”. 38 <br /> 39 <br />MOTION/SECOND. Linke/Gunn.
