There are records that the
City used "Pride, Progress and Partnerships" and "Quite Simply the Best" as its tagline
beginning in 1991 but essentially, "Pride, Progress and Partnerships" has been the
City's tagline for the past 18 years.
On May 11, 2009, the EDA discussed new tagline options for the City. Choosing a new
• tagline will complete Phase 1 of the Mounds View Branding Project, which began in
August of 2008. The EDA reviewed the list below, which was a compilation of taglines
prepared by Risdall Marketing Group and City staff.
• Where you want to be • See more from here
• The small town with big • Growing better everyday
opportunities
• It's all here
• Connected to the future
• A caring connected community
• Central to growth
• Discover for yourself
• Close. Convenient. Connected.
• A connected community
• Convenient. Connected. Caring.
• The heart of it all
• Close enough. Far enough.
• At the center of growth.
• Growing better every day.
• The Intersection of Progress and
• Small Town Feel. Big Picture Growth.
• Thinking.
• Growing home.
