He then said that, if 415 the policy is going to be changed, he thinks there are several things in the policy that needed 416 amending rather than pulling out sections to change and not discussing it first at a work session. 417 418 Council Member Thomas commented that she was not sure what the two have to do with each 419 other as Staff merely corrected some language that was problematic legally and there is nothing 420 to preempt another Council from going into further detail at a work session. 421 422 Council Member Stigney said he disagreed per Roberts Rules it was not the direction of Council. 423 424 Mayor Sonterre indicated Council did ask Staff and the City Attorney to look at changing the 425 language to make sure it was consistent.
