He also indicated that the common request was for clear definitions of what the City wants in 2 <br />an administrator. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Marty indicated the job description from the last time a City Administrator was hired 5 <br />should be used. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Council asked for a copy of the job description. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Council Member Quick suggested directing Staff to meet with the top groups and ask for clarification of 10 <br />what services would be provided for the fee. Those groups would be New Brighton, First Site Staffing, 11 <br />Roseville and Labor Relations. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Linke indicated he liked that Roseville gave an approximate number of hours to complete the 14 <br />project. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson asked whether Council was interested in being interviewed by the 17 <br />group selected so that the group can get an idea of the characteristics or traits Council is looking for. 18 <br /> 19 <br />There was consensus to meeting with the search firm or group selected to dis cuss what Council wants in 20 <br />terms of its City Administrator. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Stigney asked if the City would be handling the advertising. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Linke indicated the City would advertise but the advertisement would direct that information be 25 <br />sent to the search group. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Mayor Linke commented that his main concern is that Roseville has the time to complete the project 28 <br />quickly for the City. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Council Member Stigney asked if Staff needed Council to have an emergency meeting to discuss this 31 <br />rather than waiting for the next meeting. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated he was not sure how quickly the groups would be able to 34 <br />provide the additional information requested. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council asked Staff to advise if there was a need for a special meeting. 37 <br /> 38 <br />G.
