Mounds View City Council April 14, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting Page 15 <br /> <br />Chief Sommer indicated he could look at reducing one of the older cars. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Council Member Marty then asked Staff to determine whether any of the other vehicles could be 3 <br />eliminated and report back. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that he is conducting a study and the matter will be 6 <br />discussed as part of the 2004 budget discussions. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Council Member Gunn asked what happens to the old squad. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Chief Sommer indicated it would be traded in or auctioned off. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Council Member Stigney asked Staff to look into which vehicle is better the old squad or 13 <br />vehicles out front and keep the better of them. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br />C. Resolution No. 5993, a Resolution Approving Submittal and Execution of the 18 <br />City’s General Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Public Works Director Lee reviewed the requirements for the City concerning the general storm 21 <br />water pollution prevention program. 22 <br /> 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Marty. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 5993, a 24 <br />Resolution Approving Submittal and Execution of the City’s General Storm Water Permit for 25 <br />Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s)/Storm Water Pollution Prevention 26 <br />Program. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Marty commented that it appears that a lot of work was done and thanked Staff. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that Bonestroo did a very good job on the project. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />D. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 710, an Ordinance Amending 35 <br />Chapter 1111 of the Mounds View Zoning Code Pertaining to Permitted Uses 36 <br />within the R-O Zoning District. 37 <br /> 38 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Waive the Reading, Approve the Second Reading and 39 <br />Adopt Ordinance 710, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 1111 of the Mounds View Zoning Code 40 <br />Pertaining to Permitted Uses Within the R-O Zoning District. 41 <br /> 42 <br />ROLL CALL: Linke/Quick/Marty/Stigney/Gunn. 43 <br /> 44 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 45
