RESOLUTION NO. 6085 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT ASPHALT ROLLER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City currently owns one asphalt roller; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said roller has had a very poor maintenance history and has <br />been plagued with break downs and major repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the low quote was Tri-State Incorporated in the estimated <br />amount of $14,052.50 with a trade in credit of $5000 for the replacement <br />purchase of an asphalt roller; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2003 adopted budget has $20,000.00 allocated for the <br />replacement purchase of the City’s asphalt roller (account 100-4470-7030). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve a contract award with Tri-State Incorporated in the <br />estimated amount of $14,052.50 with a trade in credit of $5000 for the <br />replacement purchase of an asphalt roller. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of September 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
