RESOLUTION 6099 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A DELL 2100MP POWERPOINT <br />PROJECTOR BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department conducts daily training of <br />police officers, and frequent presentations to the public and or community groups; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, training and presentations can often be better presented through the <br />use of electronic media; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the benefit of having a portable PowerPoint projector was made <br />known to the Mounds View Lions Club; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Dell 2100MP PowerPoint projector was found to be very highly <br />rated by consumer and electronic magazines; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the total cost for the Dell 2100MP PowerPoint projector with <br />recommended replacement bulb and shipping is approximately $1800; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Lions Club has voted to approve funding the <br />purchase of a Dell 2100MP PowerPoint projector for the Mounds View Police <br />Department. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize the Mounds View Police Department to purchase a Dell PowerPoint <br />projector at an approximate cost of $1800, that of which will be reimbursed by the Mounds <br />View Lions Club upon submission of an invoice. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of September, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> _______________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Clerk / Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />
