RESOLUTION NO. 5895 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MARY BURG AS THE <br />GOLF COURSE MANAGER <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon direction from the City Council the Golf Course <br />Manager position was advertised ; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received and reviewed approximately 15 <br />applications for the position and interviewed four candidates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Burg’s skills and experience most closely match the <br />City’s needs. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council appoints Mary Burg as the City of Mounds View Golf Course Manager, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes a <br />starting salary Step 3 ($59,400) with an increase to Step 4 ($62,700) after six months of <br />employment pending satisfactory performance and an increase to Step 5 ($66,000) after <br />one year of employment pending satisfactory performance; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pending satisfactory reference, <br />criminal, credit and driver’s license background checks Mrs. Burg will begin employment <br />with the City on December 23, 2002 working up to 10 hours weekly at a rate of $28.55 <br />per hour (step 3); and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mrs. Burg will begin working full-time <br />February 3, 2003 at which time Mrs. Burg will become eligible for health insurance and <br />other benefits as outlined in the City’s personnel manual. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 9th day of December, 2002. <br /> <br /> <br /> Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kathleen F.
