VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> There were no requests or comments made at this meeting. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 7 : 05 p.m. Continuation of Public Hearing Regarding Ordinance No. 534 , <br /> An Ordinance Vacating Mustang Lane Street Right-Of-Way <br /> Mayor Linke continued the public hearing regarding Ordinance No. 534, <br /> City-Owed Ri-ght-O-f—Way.Paui Harr±ngton, Ci± Pi nn-e-r;repo-r-ted hat t <br /> the February 14, 1994 Council Meeting, staff had received a call from <br /> Bel-Air Construction, a New Brighton company that owns property through <br /> which an extension of Mustang Lane would be possible. Bel-Air had <br /> requested a meeting with the City to discuss the possibility of improving <br /> the street at their cost. <br /> Harrington further reported that staff met with the representatives of <br /> Bel-Air and based on those discussions, Bel-Air has decided not to pursue <br /> the construction of Mustang Lane any further. <br /> Harrington stated that the Council has two options, one to waive the <br /> reading and formally adopt Ordinance 534 vacating Mustang Lane. The <br /> second option is to deny the approval of Ordinance 534 and retain City <br /> 0 ownership of the right-of-way. <br />
