• Mounds View City Council Page Twelve <br /> Regular Meeting May 23 , 1994 <br /> The property owner of 7504 Greenfield Park indicated that many times <br /> cars are parked along the bank and the parking lot is empty. <br /> Councilmember Wuori stated that the reason the people park along the <br /> bank and the lot is empty is that the back lot is not lit up and it <br /> is not comfortable walking back there. Wuori stated that perhaps <br /> there should be lighting from Greenfield to Landmark. <br /> A discussion followed among the Councilmembers to decide what the <br /> hours of no parking should be and the defined area that should be <br /> made no parking. Council concurred that it should be between the <br /> hours of 9 : 00 p.m. and 2 : 00 a.m. and that it should extend from the <br /> north side of Bronson Drive between Edgewood Drive and Jackson <br /> Drive. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to Waive the Reading and Formally <br /> Introduce Ordinance No. 540 Amending the Chapter 802 of the <br /> Municipal Code of Mounds View By Adding Parking Restrictions on the <br /> North Side of Bronson Drive, between Edgewood Drive and Jackson <br /> Drive Between the Hours of 9 : 00 P.M. and 2 : 00 A.M. As Amended <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 0 E. Consideration of Approval of Final Payment to Mikkelson-Wulff <br /> Construction Company, Contractor for City Hall Improvement Project <br /> Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to the City Administrator, reported that <br /> Mikkelson-Wulff, the contractor for the City Hall Expansion project, <br /> has made a request for final payment. Cruikshank stated that <br /> payment of the request by the City would signify completion of the <br /> project. <br /> Mayor Linke asked if the windows that were to be replaced are still <br /> on order. <br /> Cruikshank indicated--ind-icated that thewindowsthat are to be placed-- in <br /> Conference Room A and the Administrator's Office are still back <br /> ordered, but the City has received a written contract for this work <br /> from Boonestro and Associates. <br /> Mayor Linke asked if any money is still owed to the architects. <br /> Cruikshank reported that there is no money owed to the architects, <br /> but the City has a signed letter for completion of the work. <br /> Cruikshank further reported that Mikkelson-Wulff Construction's <br /> obligations on the project are completed. The windows were an <br /> architectural error. <br /> Orduno stated that if Boonestroo does not replace the windows, the <br /> City has the legal right to sue for replacement windows and also to <br /> recoup any legal fees that might be incurred. <br />
