. Mounds View City Council Page Thirteen Regular Meeting May 23 , 1994 Councilmember Quick suggested tabling this item until the questions could be resolved. MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to Table the Final Payment to Mikkelson-Wulff Construction Company for the Completion of the City Hall Expansion Project to the June 13 , 1994 Council Meeting VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Councilmember Trude asked if she could make a motion to make payment once the windows were in. Mayor Linke stated that the item had been tabled already. REPORTS 1 . Report of Councilmembers: Councilmember Quick: No report Councilmember Blanchard: Not in attendance (ill) . Councilmember Wuori reported that the Mounds View • Community Theater will be performing Oliver at Irondale High School this summer. Auditions will be taken on June 7 , 8 , and 9 . There are many children needed for the cast of this play. Wuori reported that Park and Ride was finished off last fall and a lot of the landscaping is dead. Wuori suggested a letter be written to MTC to request that they do something about the landscaping. Mayor Linke noted that TCAAP would be doing work in that area and that this property would be disturbed anyway. Linke suggested_,__however,__that MTC__still__ be _notified__so_ that they could work with TCAAP. Councilmember Trude reported that she had spoken with Representative Geri Evans who was able to receive $35, 000 in a bill that was signed for a business retention program for the City of Mounds View in cooperation with the City of New Brighton. Staff will report as to the allocation of funds later in June, but it is expected that the funds would be allocated on the basis of number of businesses in each city. Report of Mayor Linke: ill .
